Mother of All Strikes: Greece Grinds to a Halt

Greece is closed for 48 hours – flights are grounded, schools, shops and factories all quiet – as the country endures what’s being called the ‘mother of all strikes’.

It’s arguably the biggest protest since the financial turmoil that’s crippling the country began – but more cuts could be coming.

  1. This is exactly what eurosceptics forecast when the European Union was launched. Any politician who supports it, or promoted it in the past, should be ashamed. The livelihoods and savings of millions of people are being wiped out before our eyes.

    1. I’m sorry to say I keep finding a lot of evidence that this was their plan all along.
